On April 30, 2025, the Institute for Nanophotonics Göttingen (IFNANO) welcomed two representatives from a Chinese company in the field of technology transfer. The guests were informed about the latest developments in photonic detection technology—particularly in relation to applications for rapid tests and diagnostic procedures.
During the visit, Dr. Wackerbarth (IFNANO) and PD Dr. med. vet. Frank Gessler, Managing Director of miprolab GmbH, presented current research focuses and new technologies. A laboratory tour gave the guests a hands-on insight into the technical developments at IFNANO.
The exchange took place within the context of the South Lower Saxony Point-of-Care Cluster and served as a professional dialogue on the future applications of photonic detection methods. The focus was on international knowledge transfer and the exchange of innovative analytical techniques.
